Week 2 in the Books!

10-13-2010

Hello Again Everybody!

Well, week 2 is in the books! This week was twice as fast as week 1! I can't believe I'm going to be in Boston next week!!! I'm so excited!

I did see Elder Stover up here a couple times, says he's getting the hang of things. I've met some good new elders last week. One is Elder Franklin who is an amazing dancer.

Yes Bryce, my companion is white J and there are 12 elders in our district. Probably one of the biggest in the MTC, but I don't know.

I sent Clint (Whitney) a letter today congratulating him on his mission call. I'm so excited for him to go to France. What an awesome country!

I didn't get the missionary reference books because I figured I could borrow them from a companion or the apartment in the field. I did get my hymnbook along with the scriptures last week. About the plaque, go ahead and keep Alma 29:1 on there.

"O that I were an angel, and could have the wish of mine heart, that I might go forth and speak with the trump of God, with a voice to shake the earth, and cry repentance unto every people!"

I already got the October Ensign through the Branch for so no need sending me another one. Thanks for trying to spread the word to others to send letters. Hopefully it pays off.  If you’re still using my phone, go ahead and ask some friends on there for their addresses and let me know through DearElder.com . (This has been a great way to send a letter to Brandon while he’s in the MTC.  He receives them either the same day or the next.)

Glad to hear BYU finally won! I did hear the crowd while heading to class and I was so depressed… well at least for 5 minutes. Too bad the Chiefs lost, but I'm sure Austin Collie had something to do with that. That's great Max Hall is finally starting. Hopefully he improves.

I can't think of anything else to send to Boston. Just don't send me anymore goodies till I'm out there because I have a stash already in my room (ha-ha). Thanks for all that!

Hope everything is going well back at home. Did Blake get his B-day card and present, along with the pictures for you guys? I'll be sure to send more as I get to Boston. Thank you for the emails, letters, candy and treats. Like I said last week, letters and packages are gold here! At least my family is coming through with it, unlike my friends (hint hint). (Just kidding)

Anyways my time is running out so I will get back to you guys in Boston. The Church and Book of Mormon are true and I love my missionary experience so far.

I love you all so much and you are always in my thoughts and prayers. Best of luck to you and May God bless you continually.
